Unless india address issues of Population Growth ( now it is hard to walk in many places in big cities), Morality of the Peoples (govt can not do any thing about this, we as a people always take shortcuts aslong as it does not affect us personally !!!) Broken Judicial system ( Recent statement of supreme court tells they have enough court case to deal per judge for next few decades !!) Purity of air, water,milk, Increasing corruption and detoriation in quality of education (because of priviatization we have engineering , pharmacy and other technical education colleges in every village, 95% of them dont have faculty, labs etc and only care for profit, you can graduate as long as you pay fee for admission and pay fee for their annual due) (that is why our 90% of engineers are UNEMLOYABLE) THERE ARE many other issues to list here but all we know
If you go to our home country for short visit, you will probably like it , if you stay there more than three months and try to settle there again, you will start comparing all above to US and might feel that you made wrong choice of abondoning your GC process
Also in money we make in some big cities in our home country we can not buy a decent home to live in as real estate prices are so INFLATED and there is no body which regulates real estate in India. Prices double evey day. I dont know how local middle class which hardly make 2-3 lac per year can afford such properties.
After living long time in other country, it will be hard to adjust with people there. You will always face morality issue, duplicity in the people (what they talk and what they act, it is hard to trust) also artificial and selfish nature of so called social relations in home country (of which all we are proud of some how ) I find people and social relation here more frank and trust worthy (they are more open and close to reality) then our social structure where evry one try to take advantage of other some how under the so called social relations
So think three time about all these issue of long term before you try to abondon your GC process. All these isssues you will be facing in our home country no matter how much money you make. On long term your choice might hurt you. If you are fed up with immigration issues here try to open up other avenues for you along with this country.

The reality (which is bad) is that if you have money in india , your life style is much better than what u have in US (dont forget , even earning 100K, doesn't really make u rich here , Honda and Toyota are poor people's car in US.. I have seen very few EB applicants driving a BMV,Bentley)
When i was in India, i went to best hotels for food (2000Rs buffets) virtually every week.,just went to NY once for a 200$ buffet, in 6 years.
So everyone has to take a personal decision, based on personal factors..

Typically, if someone is doing a AC21 jump + H1b transfer, it means that the h1b gets transferred to the new employer and the new employer is the h1b petitioner. If the h1b is based on an approved 140 - the beneficiary gets it for 3 years and unless the person is completing his 3 years with the new employer when the 140 revoke happens, the h1b is still valid unless the new employer decides he will cancel it or the person is layed off and thats when the person is in deep trouble because he/she does not have EAD. Correct me if I am wrong. H1b revocation by ex employer may not affect the candidate because candidate already did a transfer

If person has already crossed 6 years limit, H1 extension or transfer does not stand valid without any underlying pending AOS. This is what RG termed as opposite to conventional internet wisdom. Is it true that when we apply for NRI home loan we should repay the loan back in foreign currency.
If that is the case what will a person do if he applies for the NRI loan( long term) and moves back to India for good after few years .Will he have to pay back the loan in foreign currency before making the move?

The first bulletin with Eb1 and Eb2 spill over.
Last year:
Mar 2008- India Eb2 U
Apr 2008- India-Eb2 01 Dec 03
This year may be:
Mar 2009- India Eb2 15 Feb 04
Apr 2009- India Eb2 28 Feb 05 (My PD :))
As per March 2009 visa bulletin EB2-China is already 15 Feb 05.
If USCIS repeats last year's pattern of spill over from April then both EB2 China and India move together.
As they move China's dates they need to move India's dates(both share the spill over as retrogressed countries).
Keep guessing on EB2-China's forward movement and most likely would be the same for EB2-India :)

A copy of the Congresswoman Lofgren's letter written to USCIS etc ( download it from IV homepage )
A copy of Today ( July 5th ) Wall Street Journal . This issue has story about this fiasco.
Downloaded news flash from Murthy.com regarding Visa bulletins of 13th June & the screwup bulletin on 2nd July
Above was good enough to convince them regarding the mess & they promised action on their part..
IMPORTANT... I clarified that IT IS A PROCEDURAL ISSUE WITH USCIS
NOT AN IMMIGRATION ISSUE WHERE CONGRESS HAS TO TAKE ACTION
This really made them very comfortable as she said, we keep writing to concerned offices about procedural matters.
I told them that they should ask USCIS to " RECEIVE" aour applications to minimize our finanacial loss and other headache of refiling at a later date
Please note, it is real easy to meet the Congressman as they have local offices may be one mile away from your office or home.

No, this is only the processing time for labor application, the whole process took a lot longer than this. I first submitted my document to the lawyer in the last week of January this year. Lawyer prepared my case, wages approval etc. it took around 1+ month to get preventing wages. then advertisement, recruitment process etc.
almost 8 month to finish all the requirements before the company could actually file the labor application.
I hope this answers your question.

Ah, so you are looking to purchase in Hyd. Here is the latest, if you already don't know.
There is a talk about HMDA which is an agency to overlook a project extending the Hyderabad to Bhongir in the East and to Medak in the west.
There will be strict implementation of plans for constructing new houses.
Realtors have already started marketing this and extracting high prices.
If you do have time to research, you can purchase land for cheap (around 3-4 thousand rupees per sql yard) in the outskirts.

It will be great if everyone who comes to IV contributes. That would be the ideal case scenario. But I think if there were specific donation drives like the one that is on going, then I believe a lot of people who believe in that cause would contribute and others who dont, wont!
Now, in this donor's only club that IV is proposing to have, what does the core have in mind. Is that going to be a forum where exclusive information is provided? What is the incentive for a "donor" to visit the general public forum? If the "donor"s dont visit the general forum arent you effectively killing off the general forum?
Like I had posted earlier, what stops a donor from making whatever is there in the donors only forum made available to everyone? Isnt this going to cause more divisions within IV?

Say, like having the ability to ask questions to a immigration lawyer or if any lawmaker is ready to answer quetions, the ability to post questions to them. This data will be sought by all of us but if we are not ready to support the effort, it will be tough to invest in it. The subscriptions will help us continue IV initiatives with more zeal and we will know that a lot of members support us.
