It is April new numbers for the quarter will be available.My guess is EB2 I will move beyond April 1 2004.Once it crossess 2004 then it will be almost in 2006 not many cases in 2005.

Few observations based on thread postings
1) Last year around this same time not many RFE/LUD were seen.
2) Most of these cases with RFE/LUD are either EB2 around 2005-2006 or EB3 2003-2004
3) My Lawyer based out of IL confirming RFEs are in high volume and majority of these are Employment verification with Birth verification and Health letter verification as close second.
Now given the gov attitude and the current scenario it does not seem that they would be interested in pre-adjudication. There is something else that is going on. On the same note I am also seeing that people with dates which could possibly be current anytime this year are not seeing any LUD/RFE. If pre-adjudicating is the objective than these cases should have received the RFEs first.
Just my observation. Any input is appreciated.

you need to stop getting answers from others and solve this problem amicably with you wife. There is nothing better than a one-one discussion with her.
Marrying is like buying a company, you have a moral obligation to account for any liabilities she may have.
Understand, she may have been the sole income earner in India for her parents. It doesnot hurt for you to send say 200-300 dollars every month. 700 dollars every month from your check is not that big deal (350 for each family). Don't make it a long term solution.
You have filed 485, what stops your wife from getting a job here?? Does she want to stay at home, watch TV and enjoy life? if she thinks that way, let her know, if she wants to send money to her parents long term, she needs to get out of house, find a job

reddog, please explain how you have supported IV in the past in non-monetary ways. For lobbying, there is not much you can do other than support monetarily,or make trips to DC yourself.

Yes every member has their own issues. We cannot solve individual issue one by one. That is why you have to contribute to IV and join hands with IV to solve our issue.
Also, if this May 15th date is true, then why the hell in world the backlog center is still open and working on dead cases. The cases will be dead only if the law is passed. May be they are also confused as we are.

If this very unreasonable bill (EB backlog) will be passed the wasting of all the money, time, stress, anxiety and hope towards the GC procedure will make the whole thing look like a bitter joke. This is beyong my wildest imagination on how bad things can go since we are all hard-working and law-abiding legal immigrants. Is it a punishment for being a good member of society?
I'm praying that it will not be given any consideration by those who have powers.

I'm just waiting for them to start working on the 2002 cases now, since everyone who applied later already got their greencards it seems. :(
I think it is sooo unfair that someone who applied in 2005 already got a green card and taking the visa numbers when others have waited 3 or 4 more years(!) extra have to wait even longer. That is something for IV to fight for...

I am just trying to get the facts. I am not against EB3-I as I myself is EB3-I and waiting for my turn since last 7 years.

I Agree with you, EB3 I will never ever be current unless there is a resolution or releaf passed by Mr Change (Obama) or his lobby, there is no light beyond this tunnel until we see some releaf which does not look getting this year atleast and may be another couple of years.
Predictions are good to just hear and watch and here predictions are like lovely dreams which will never come true unless untill any big chnage is taken place, and the only person who i have hope with to do something for EB3 I is President Obama.
But he is kind of busy with other important issues and our issue is not that important for him reason may be we are not his vote bank and will get to the curve of getting the GC when we are very close to our graves.
This is really furstating and freinds sorry to express my frustration here on this forum but i am done and just look at my PD Dec 2001 for the past 1 year i hear from my lawyer you are just the next badge and should be current in the next bulletin.
I think we should live everything aside and just do our best at work thats what i am doing and thank god for getting our bread and butter in this economy.
